Mayor Small Announced New Criteria for Third Year of $3M Scholarship Program for Atlantic City Residents
Mayor Marty Small, Sr. announced new eligibility criteria for the third year of his $3M scholarship program, awarding 100 scholarships worth up to $10,000 each to Atlantic City residents. The program expanded this year to support more students, including trade school applicants and graduates from other schools accepting Atlantic City students.

In a bold step to support local businesses, the City of Atlantic City launched its Small Business Grant Program on January 16, 2025, providing up to $10,000 in aid for businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to help small businesses recover and thrive, offering critical financial support for working capital expenses like payroll and rent. Applications are open until April 1, 2025, and an informational webinar is set for January 22, 2025.

Mayor Small highlighted the importance of collaboration in these successes and looks forward to an even brighter 2025.
