Local leaders were honored during Atlantic City’s Women’s Empowerment Luncheon, where community, culture, and financial literacy took center stage. The event recognized impactful women and fostered a spirit of inspiration and unity.

February was a deep dive into Art, Culture, and Black History, concluding with a screening of Summer of Soul. Senior Services wrapped up the month-long celebration with an engaging Movie Day at the Whitman Branch of the Philadelphia Free Library.

Day 3 of the event celebrated Sports, College & Career Readiness, where students engaged with sports professionals and athletes to gain insights into their future. The panel discussion provided essential tips on preparing for college and careers beyond high school.

Mayor Marty Small Sr. and the St. Patrick’s Day Planning Squad unveiled thrilling details about this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which took place on March 8th. Atlantic City went all out in green, bringing the community together for a vibrant and unforgettable celebration.

We wrapped up Black History Month with a visit to AAMP, where we explored the powerful stories of Audacious Freedom and the stunning artistry of Shared Vision. This experience was a profound reminder of the resilience and beauty of Black history and culture.

Our Black Business Expo was a great success, bringing together vendors and the Clubs and Community for an unforgettable experience. Thank you to all who participated and supported this empowering event!

The Winter Arts Mixer at Anchor Rock Club was an unforgettable night celebrating Atlantic City’s vibrant arts scene. From the premiere of ACAF’s 100th Mural Documentary to a stunning showcase of local talent, it was an inspiring evening filled with creativity and connection.

On February 27, 1844, the Dominican Republic gained its independence, marking a proud moment in history. Today, we celebrate its rich culture, history, and the resilience of its people.
