Pride Month was an opportunity for Atlantic City to celebrate the diversity, strength and individuality of the LGBTQIA+ community while reaffirming a message that extends far beyond the month of June: everyone is welcome in Atlantic City. Throughout the month, the City brought the community together through events such as the annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall and Great Pride Day, creating opportunities for residents, visitors, families, businesses and community organizations to celebrate together.
These events are a reflection of the values that make Atlantic City an all-inclusive city. From City Hall to our neighborhoods, Boardwalk and business community, Atlantic City is committed to creating an environment where people of every background and identity feel respected, supported and at home. Pride Month gives the City an opportunity to recognize the contributions of LGBTQIA+ residents and allies while continuing to build a community rooted in acceptance, equality and belonging.
