Atlantic City’s transformation continues as city, county and state leaders gathered for the official ribbon cutting of The Residences at Orange Loop, a new luxury townhome development that further cements the Orange Loop as one of the city’s fastest-rising neighborhoods.
Led by developer Brian Zoubek, the project brings sophisticated coastal living to Kentucky Avenue just steps from the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk and beach. In addition to Mayor Marty Small, Sr., the unveiling ceremony drew prominent officials including New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill, both of whom praised the project as another sign of Atlantic City’s growing development momentum.

“We are changing the narrative here in Atlantic City,” said Mayor Small. “We are reinventing ourselves in the housing market. This is a great time to be in Atlantic City. The momentum is at an all-time high.”
“Today, there’s a sense that new things are possible for this city,” said Governor Sherill. “As I look around, like all of you, I see incredible potential here.”
The Residences at Orange Loop features expansive bedrooms, designer bathrooms, oversized private garages capable of housing two to four vehicles, and rooftop spaces with sweeping ocean views. For city leaders, however, the project symbolizes a broader shift taking place throughout Atlantic City, one focused on creating a city where people not only visit, but choose to live, work and invest.

Projects like this prove that developers believe in Atlantic City’s future. The Orange Loop, once known primarily as an entertainment and nightlife district, has rapidly transformed into a hub of redevelopment activity. New restaurants, retail, residential projects and hospitality investments have injected fresh energy into the neighborhood, helping create a more walkable and livable environment.
Zoubek’s latest project builds on that momentum while signaling confidence in Atlantic City’s future trajectory. Beyond the Orange Loop, Zoubek Properties is also developing luxury residences in Atlantic City’s Snug Harbor neighborhood, further expanding the city’s growing residential inventory.
City officials say the continued wave of investment demonstrates Atlantic City’s transition from a tourism-dependent economy into a more diversified coastal city with growing residential appeal. Major infrastructure projects, new housing developments and private-sector investments are helping reshape perceptions of the city while attracting new residents and businesses.
“This is just the start,” added Mayor Small. “There’s more coming.”
