The NAACP Atlantic City Branch, in collaboration with the Fellowship of Churches, hosted a successful Souls to the Polls event that brought the community together in unity, purpose, and civic engagement. The gathering celebrated the power of the vote and the strength of community fellowship as participants joined in to cast their ballots during the early voting period.

Held as part of the ongoing effort to encourage voter participation, the event served as both a celebration and a reminder of the importance of civic responsibility. Residents from across Atlantic City came together to exercise their right to vote while enjoying meaningful connections with neighbors, community leaders, and local organizations.

The event took place during early voting, which continued through Sunday, November 2, at Quaremba Hall, located at 15 N. Georgia Avenue. Attendees were encouraged to take advantage of the extended voting days to ensure their voices were heard.

The Souls to the Polls initiative aimed to make voting accessible, engaging, and empowering by blending community fellowship with civic action. Organizers emphasized that collective participation strengthens democracy and ensures that every vote truly counts.

The NAACP Atlantic City Branch expressed gratitude to everyone who joined and supported the event, including local partners and volunteers who made the day possible.

Special thanks were extended to Fish Heads, Sarah’s Kitchen, and the city’s jitney drivers, whose contributions helped make the event not only successful but also enjoyable for all participants.

The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie, good food, and shared purpose as residents came together under one message—community unity through action.

Events like this showcased the ongoing dedication of the NAACP and faith-based organizations in Atlantic City to advocate for civic engagement, equality, and representation.

By encouraging voter turnout, the Souls to the Polls initiative continued a long-standing tradition of mobilizing communities through faith, service, and collective empowerment.

The success of this event underscored the importance of partnerships between community organizations, local businesses, and residents in making civic participation both accessible and meaningful.
