The City of Atlantic City recently celebrated love in a grand way with the Marry Me in AC event at Brighton Park. The gathering turned the park into a romantic setting where couples came together to celebrate their love stories.
The celebration welcomed 22 couples, with many saying “I do” for the very first time and others joyfully renewing their vows. This mix of new beginnings and reaffirmed commitments created an atmosphere filled with joy, unity, and cherished memories.
The ceremony was officiated by Mayor Marty Small, Sr., who guided couples through the heartfelt occasion under the open sky. His presence added a personal and meaningful touch to the day, reinforcing the city’s commitment to making Atlantic City a place for unforgettable moments.
Beyond the vows and rings, Marry Me in AC became a symbol of community and togetherness. Couples, families, and friends witnessed how love could transform Brighton Park into a stage of celebration and shared happiness.
The event was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Vital Statistics Office under the Health and Human Services Department, the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, the Public Information Office, the Information Technology Department, and the Atlantic City Police Department. Their teamwork ensured that every couple experienced a safe, smooth, and truly memorable day.
A special acknowledgment also went to The Claridge Hotel, which played a key role in helping couples enjoy a celebration that highlighted Atlantic City’s unique charm and romance.
With love in the air, music, and heartfelt words echoing across the park, the day became more than just a wedding ceremony. It was a moment where Atlantic City reminded everyone of its ability to host events that celebrate not only its beauty but also the bonds that connect people.
As the sun set on this unforgettable event, couples left Brighton Park with smiles, laughter, and stories to carry forward into their journeys together. Marry Me in AC stood as a reminder that love, when celebrated openly and joyfully, can bring people closer and leave lasting memories.
