GREAT Day Summer Camp Held Exciting Field Day at Micah "Dew" Tennant Park

The GREAT Day Summer Camp, a FREE initiative under the City of Atlantic City, delivered a full day of active fun during its recent Field Day event at Micah “Dew” Tennant Park in Maryland Avenue. Hosted by the dedicated teams of AC Rec, Atlantic City Youth Services, and Multicultural Services, the event provided youth with a chance to engage in outdoor games, friendly competitions, and community bonding.

Participants rotated through stations that challenged their physical skills and teamwork, while also learning valuable lessons about sportsmanship, collaboration, and resilience. From relay races to tug-of-war, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, encouragement, and the spirit of friendly competition.

Staff and volunteers from multiple departments worked seamlessly to ensure a safe and memorable experience for all the campers. The coordination between city services was a testament to the ongoing commitment to providing positive youth programming throughout the summer.
