The Office of Multicultural Services of the City of Atlantic City proudly organized a Consulate Service Day dedicated to serving the Peruvian community.
This special day was held by appointment only and provided essential services that were critical to the community’s needs. Services included Power of Attorney, Voter Registration, ID Services, and Passports, ensuring that individuals could access resources that might otherwise require long-distance travel.
One of the most significant outcomes of the day was the completion of over 120 passport appointments, alongside many other vital services. This accomplishment demonstrated the community’s strong engagement and the success of the initiative.
By bringing consulate services directly to Atlantic City, the Office of Multicultural Services created a meaningful opportunity for residents to save time, reduce travel expenses, and access important documentation in a supportive and familiar environment.
The initiative reflected the city’s commitment to inclusivity and its dedication to making essential services accessible for all. It also highlighted the importance of meeting the needs of diverse communities by working closely with consulates and community leaders.
For the Peruvian community in Atlantic City, this event was more than a service day—it was a recognition of their presence, their needs, and their valued role in the city’s multicultural fabric.
The City of Atlantic City reaffirmed through this initiative that it remained committed to serving its diverse populations and ensuring that everyone has access to the resources necessary for empowerment and success.
