The Atlantic City Senior Services program successfully hosted a CPR Certification Course for the residents of the Berkley.
This initiative was part of the department’s ongoing efforts to ensure that seniors in the community are not only cared for but also empowered with critical life-saving skills.
The course provided participants with hands-on training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), an essential skill that can make the difference in emergency situations.
Residents of the Berkley showed tremendous enthusiasm and commitment as they actively took part in both the instructional and practical components of the training.
Certified instructors guided the seniors step by step, ensuring that each participant gained the confidence to perform CPR effectively.
By completing this course, the residents of the Berkley demonstrated a strong dedication to their own safety as well as the safety of their community.
Education has always been a cornerstone of the Atlantic City Senior Services mission, and this CPR training highlighted the importance of equipping individuals with practical knowledge that can save lives.
The event also reinforced the idea that learning has no age limit and that seniors are capable of mastering new skills when given the right tools and encouragement.
Thanks to this effort, a greater number of community members are now prepared to respond to critical situations, further strengthening Atlantic City’s culture of care and readiness.
The successful completion of the course marked another step forward in the mission to prioritize both the health and education of Atlantic City’s senior residents.
