The Atlantic City Reentry Services division hosted a heartfelt Reunification Dinner at the Claridge Hotel, bringing together program participants, families, and community leaders to celebrate the power of second chances.

The event highlighted individuals who had successfully completed specialized job training in areas such as casino gaming, electrician work, and phlebotomy. These new skills allowed honorees to secure meaningful employment and begin building stable, brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Each success story stood as a powerful example of perseverance and the importance of community support. The honorees proved that with determination and access to the right resources, lasting transformation is possible.

The evening also recognized the achievements of the program’s youngest participants. Local youth who graduated from the Kings and Queens Mentoring Program were honored for their dedication to personal growth, leadership, and making positive life choices.

Distinguished guests included Mayor Marty Small, Sr., who joined in applauding the honorees and their families for their resilience and hard work. His presence underscored the city’s ongoing commitment to programs that keep residents empowered and families united.

The dinner itself was a collaborative effort organized by Kamau Johnson, Michele Griffin, Takima Toulson, Ashley Ingram, and Brandan Hargrose from the Reentry Services division. Their dedication helped ensure the evening was both meaningful and memorable.

By recognizing the accomplishments of participants, Atlantic City Reentry Services continued its mission to help individuals reenter the workforce with confidence and support. The Reunification Dinner served as a reminder that the community is stronger when opportunities for growth and healing are embraced.

For those in attendance, the evening was not just a celebration, but also a reaffirmation of the city’s belief in second chances and the positive ripple effects they create.

The honorees left the event not only with recognition but also with renewed hope for their future and the unwavering support of their families and community.

Atlantic City Reentry Services reaffirmed its commitment to providing pathways for individuals to rebuild their lives, demonstrating that with the right tools, dedication, and encouragement, transformation is always possible.
