Atlantic City Makes Steady Progress on Major Paving Projects Across Key Roadways

The City of Atlantic City made continued progress in enhancing the quality and safety of its roadways through several major paving projects. The initiative aimed to provide smoother, safer, and more reliable travel experiences for residents and visitors alike.

One of the key updates included Baltic Avenue, where the first half of the milling and paving from Maine to Missouri was officially completed. This marked a major milestone in the city’s infrastructure improvement efforts. Work on the remaining section was set to resume once the stretch of inclement weather passed, ensuring that the project would maintain its pace without compromising quality.

At MLK Boulevard, significant concrete, ramp, and sidewalk improvements were underway. These upgrades were designed to make the area more accessible and pedestrian-friendly, paving the way—literally—for the next phase of work, which included milling and paving from Route 30 to Mediterranean Avenue.

Meanwhile, on Atlantic Avenue, preparations were advancing for the Atlantic Avenue Improvement Project, a major undertaking that covered the stretch from Tennessee to Albany Avenues. The Notice to Proceed had already been issued, and construction submissions were under review. Pre-paving activities were scheduled to start in the following weeks, signaling the beginning of one of the city’s most anticipated roadway transformations.

These coordinated efforts represented the city’s ongoing dedication to maintaining and upgrading its infrastructure. By addressing key routes and ensuring the long-term durability of its roads, the City of Atlantic City demonstrated its commitment to both public safety and community progress.
