The City of Atlantic City Multicultural Services closed out Hispanic Heritage Month with an engaging and educational event — the first session of Intro to Spanish held on October 15th.
Participants came together to celebrate the richness of Hispanic culture while taking their first steps in learning a new language. The class introduced basic Spanish skills, including how to greet others, introduce themselves, and share a little about who they are.

The interactive session encouraged participants to practice their speaking skills in a welcoming environment, helping them gain confidence and appreciation for the beauty of the Spanish language.
This initiative reflected the city’s ongoing commitment to fostering cultural understanding, diversity, and inclusion among its residents. By combining language education with cultural celebration, the program provided a meaningful way to honor the values and traditions of the Hispanic community.
The event also served as a fitting conclusion to a month-long series of activities recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month, which highlighted the contributions, history, and influence of Hispanic and Latino communities in Atlantic City and beyond.

The City of Atlantic City Multicultural Services expressed gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the celebration, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and cultural appreciation.
Through programs like Intro to Spanish, the city continues to promote connection and respect among diverse cultures, further enriching the community’s social fabric.
