Among the standout performances of the evening was the Doubles Row team of Julianna Granese and Michelle Burwell, who clinched a second-place finish, earning silver medals and bringing recognition to their department.

In the Swim event, Samia Ghazaz delivered a strong performance, continuing her legacy as one of AC’s top aquatic athletes.

Juliana Granese also competed in the Singles Row, achieving an impressive fourth-place finish against a challenging field.

Meanwhile, Sabrine Ghazaz represented Atlantic City in the Paddleboard race, paddling with determination and skill through the choppy surf.

The Surf Dash team — composed of Samia Ghazaz, Sabrine Ghazaz, Madison Litsitin, and Emma Crozier-Carole — powered their way to a fifth-place finish, demonstrating coordination and resilience.

This event marked another milestone in the team’s summer season, highlighting the depth and talent of the Atlantic City Beach Patrol’s female athletes.

The invitational brought together lifeguards from across the region in a celebration of athletic excellence, camaraderie, and community spirit.

With this strong showing now in the books, all eyes turned toward the Captain Michael D. McGrath Longport Memorials, where the men’s team prepared to take the spotlight next.

The Atlantic City Beach Patrol continued to uphold its reputation as one of the most respected and competitive units on the Jersey Shore.
