The Atlantic City Beach Patrol (ACBP) Race Team delivered an impressive performance during the Atlantic City Lifeguard Classic, securing a third-place tie at their home beach on Albany Avenue. The competition, held in North Amityville, New York, showcased some of the region’s most skilled and dedicated lifeguards, and ACBP rose to the occasion with determination and strength.

In the Surf Dash, team members Emmett Kane, Andrew Gillman, Sabrine Ghazaz, and Ty Costabile led the way, capturing a first-place finish. Their speed and coordination set the tone for the rest of the competition and energized the entire squad.

The Doubles Row team of Vince Granese and Nick Guidara also climbed the podium with a third-place victory. Their precision and endurance in the surf demonstrated the high level of training and teamwork ACBP athletes bring to every event.

In the Doubles Rescue Race, Tom Muskett and John Swift tackled the surf with confidence and grit, representing the squad with honor in one of the most physically demanding contests of the day.

The team also put forth a strong effort in the Doubles Relay, with Michelle Burwell, Nick Guider, Julianna Granese, and Vince Granese working seamlessly together to complete the event with determination and skill.

In the Swim/Paddle Relay, Adam Schreiner, Adam Bailey, Harrison Gillman, and Mo Levin showcased versatility and stamina, further contributing to the team's overall standing.

Finally, John Swift represented ACBP in the Singles Row, rounding out the day’s races with a determined solo performance.

These results highlighted the exceptional training and camaraderie within the Atlantic City Beach Patrol, especially when competing on familiar sands. The team’s ability to tie for third among elite competitors from across the region is a proud moment for both the patrol and the community it protects.

With every competition, the ACBP Race Team continues to build on a legacy of excellence, safety, and sportsmanship. Their strong showing at the Lifeguard Classic is just one of many moments where Atlantic City’s finest lifeguards have proven their mettle in and out of the water.
