The Atlantic City Beach Patrol race team proved once again why Atlantic City is home to one of the region’s premier lifeguard operations, capturing the South Jersey Lifeguard Championships team title.
Atlantic City finished with 13 points, securing a top-three finish in every event to claim the overall championship. Vince Granese and Nick Guidara earned a top finish in Doubles Row, Granese also placed in Singles Row, and Charles Schreiner finished among the top competitors in Singles Swim.
The championship reflects the strength, training and dedication of the Atlantic City Beach Patrol as a whole. The skills tested in these competitions are the same skills lifeguards rely on throughout the summer while protecting thousands of residents and visitors who enjoy Atlantic City's beaches.
With a long tradition of excellence and a team capable of competing at the highest level, the Atlantic City Beach Patrol continues to demonstrate that those who head to the beach in Atlantic City are in highly trained and capable hands.
