Atlantic City and Pleasantville celebrated the grand opening of the Atlantic City Joint Municipal Court at the Clayton G. Graham Public Safety Building. This milestone marked the successful merger of both municipal courts, effective since January 1st, 2024, and highlighted a collaborative effort to enhance judicial services and accessibility for both communities.
Following extensive renovations, the court facilities were modernized with updated furniture, flooring, and fresh paint. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Mayor Marty Small, Sr., Mayor Judy Ward, and other key figures, symbolizing the strength of this partnership.
Mayor Small emphasized the importance of the merger, noting that the collaboration would build a more efficient court system for both cities. The new court is a powerful example of regional cooperation and community progress.
