The Atlantic City Police Department – Annual PAL Thanksgiving Dinner once again brought together officers, families, and residents for a celebration rooted in gratitude, unity, and community spirit. Held at the Atlantic City Police Athletic League (PAL), the event continued a long-standing tradition that highlighted the department’s dedication to fostering positive relationships across the city.

The dinner created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where officers and residents connected beyond the badge. Conversations, shared meals, and thoughtful interactions defined the evening, reinforcing the value of togetherness during the holiday season.

ACPD leadership attended the event, demonstrating their commitment to community engagement. Chief James Sarkos, Captain A. Zelinger, Deputy Chief A. Leonard, and Public Safety Director S. Riggin spent the evening serving meals and interacting with families. Their involvement showed the department’s ongoing effort to remain present, accessible, and supportive in community spaces.

A special acknowledgment was extended to PAL Director Lt. W. Santiago, whose coordination and leadership made the event both meaningful and impactful. His work throughout the year has played a vital role in supporting the youth and families served by PAL.

The Thanksgiving dinner served as a moment of reflection on the importance of unity and giving back. Attendees were reminded that small acts of kindness—such as sharing a warm meal—can strengthen community connections and uplift neighborhoods.

The meal itself was prepared with care by Atlantic City PAL and Mrs. Regina, whose dedication ensured that every guest felt welcomed and appreciated. Their contributions added a personal touch that made the evening especially memorable.

Throughout the night, the theme of “community strong” resonated deeply. The gathering showcased how residents, officers, and local organizations could come together to support one another and build a stronger, more connected Atlantic City.

As the event came to a close, the Atlantic City Police Department expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved—from organizers to volunteers to families who attended. Their collective efforts reflected the true spirit of Atlantic City: caring, supportive, and united.

This year’s Atlantic City Police Department – Annual PAL Thanksgiving Dinner stood as a powerful reminder of the impact that community-centered traditions can have, reinforcing bonds and inspiring continued collaboration throughout the year.
