This past week was filled with both learning and cultural connection for our team and students. During our third week of Intro to Spanish, students continued to build their language skills by learning how to talk about their families, use negative phrases, and form simple two-word sentences. Each class brought new opportunities for growth, confidence, and fun—¡muy bien!
Beyond the classroom, our team had the pleasure of joining the Multicultural Festival at Atlantic Cape Community College, hosted by Oceanside I Family Success Center. It was a wonderful celebration of diversity and togetherness, where we proudly shared Vietnamese spring rolls and enjoyed performances and food representing cultures from all around the world.

The event was not only a feast for the senses but also a meaningful reminder of the beauty of unity through cultural exchange. Attendees got to experience music, dance, and cuisines that highlighted the community’s rich cultural tapestry.
It was truly a fulfilling week—one that reminded us of the joy of learning something new and celebrating the cultures that bring us together.
