Stitch, Create, and Learn: Join the 6-Week Basic Sewing Course

Atlantic City’s Chelsea neighborhood is once again home to the ultimate food competition — the 6th Annual Best Empanada Challenge. Throughout September, the community will celebrate delicious empanadas, local talent, and cultural unity, with winners crowned at the Empanada Fiesta on October 4th.

Who: Midtown CDC, hosted at Baltic Plaza Apartments

What: Basic Sewing Classes – a 6-week course with free registration

When: Tuesdays, September 9 – October 14, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Where: Baltic Plaza Apartments, 1313 Baltic Ave., Atlantic City

Why: To provide the community with free access to learning sewing skills, with materials included, in a welcoming and inclusive environment
