Atlantic City will come alive with celebration on June 19, 2025, as the city honors Juneteenth through a day filled with community events. Hosted by local organizations including the Black Catholic Ministry, African American Heritage Museum, and Ubuntu The Community, these activities are open to all and designed to uplift, educate, and inspire.
Who: The events are hosted by the Black Catholic Ministry, the African American Heritage Museum (@aahmsnj), and Ubuntu The Community (@ubuntuthecommunity).
What: A series of Juneteenth celebrations in Atlantic City, including a luncheon, bazaar and show, and a community cookout.
When: June 19, 2025, with events taking place between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Where: Luncheon: Quaremba Hall, 15 N. Georgia Ave
Bazaar & Show: Noyes Arts Garage, 2200 Fairmount Ave
Cookout: Oscar E. McClinton Park, 201 N. New Hampshire Ave
Why: To commemorate Juneteenth and promote cultural awareness, community unity, and celebration of African American heritage.
