Clean Communities Summer 2025 brought together the heart and hands of Atlantic City, with residents, Public Works, and new city programs working in sync. From eco-friendly bottle stations to free book libraries and recycling, this year’s initiative made a lasting mark.

What: The Clean Communities Summer 2025 initiative, encouraging residents to clean their neighborhoods and take part in new community improvements such as book recycling, bottle-filling stations, a new fleet, and Little Libraries
When: Summer 2025, with ongoing applications and participation opportunities throughout the season; City drop-off and office hours: Thursday–Monday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Where: Applications are available at City Hall, Room 604, located at 1301 Bacharach Blvd, and drop-off for book recycling at 1100 N Albany Ave
Why: To promote community pride, environmental sustainability, and offer a $200 monthly stipend to participating resident groups while introducing new services to improve quality of life in Atlantic City
