Mixed media artist Bernard DelaCruz presented his powerful installation “Art Saved Me”, a work that transformed discarded materials into a visual story of resilience, healing, and creative rebirth.
Who: Bernard DelaCruz, a mixed media artist supported by the Atlantic City Arts Foundation.
What: An installation titled “Art Saved Me”, created from discarded objects such as records, cassette tapes, and everyday items.
When: Displayed during free gallery hours from November 14 to December 13, 2025, on Fridays and Saturdays from 12–5 PM.
Where: The Ministry of ARTeriors, located at 2601 Pacific Avenue, with free parking at 2525 Pacific Avenue.
Why: To share DelaCruz’s personal journey through anxiety and depression, showing how creativity led him fom darkness to hope, and to highlight how art can transform struggle into strength.
