48 Blocks Festival

Atlantic City’s creative spirit takes center stage during the annual 48 Blocks Festival, a free, family-friendly celebration bringing art, culture and community together across the city. Held in Uptown Park and Fisherman’s Park, the all-day event showcases the talent, creativity and diverse stories that can be found throughout Atlantic City’s 48 blocks.

The festival features two stages of live music, theater and poetry, along with large-scale art installations, public art demonstrations and interactive workshops for all ages. Residents and visitors can also explore a marketplace featuring local artists and vendors, enjoy food from local providers and connect with community organizations and resources.

Presented by the Atlantic City Arts Foundation, 48 Blocks represents a celebration of the organization’s commitment to bringing public art into every neighborhood. The festival serves as a culmination of that effort, highlighting the artists, performers and community members who help make Atlantic City a vibrant and culturally rich place to live, work and visit.

The 2026 48 Blocks Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from noon to 8 p.m. at Uptown Park and Fisherman’s Park, with a rain date of Sunday, September 20. More than just a festival, 48 Blocks is a celebration of the people, neighborhoods and creative energy that make Atlantic City unique.
