3 to 30 Seconds Global Moment to Pause

Taking just a few seconds to pause and think before reacting can change the course of a life. That’s the message Philadelphia motivational speaker and influencer Eric "Shabazz the OG" Lowe shares around the world, and he’s bringing it to Atlantic City on Monday, March 30, 2026. After addressing Atlantic City 8th grade students, Lowe will be at City Hall, where Atlantic City will officially become the FIRST CITY to recognize the 3 to 30 Seconds Global Moment to Pause.

The community is encouraged to come to City Hall and be part of this historic moment! The symbolic 30-second pause will happen at exactly 3:30 PM on March 30 (3/30) in the Sheila Y. Oliver Plaza, as participants reflect and commit to thoughtful decision-making. Mayor Small will present Lowe with a proclamation just before the pause.
